Therapy is currently available at Spring Hill in Brisbane, or via Telehealth.
Please note, the Australian Psychological Society recommended rate for seeing a psychologist is $311. However, this is at the discretion of the individual psychologist.
I charge $260 for a 50-minute consultation (plus transaction fees).
Payment is due at the time of the consultation, and is made via credit or debit card details obtained at the time of the booking. If you have any concerns about being able to pay for your session, please contact me before making a booking.
Rebates may be available - view the sections on Medicare Rebates and Private Health Insurance Rebates below.

You may attend sessions as a private client; i.e., you do not require a referral from your GP to attend psychology sessions. As a private client, the full fee for sessions are payable by you.

You will have to access Medicare rebates for therapy sessions with a valid referral from a doctor with a Mental Health Treatment Plan. The Medicare rebate is $141.85 per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year; as such, you will be out-of-pocket $118.15 per session. The full fee of $260 is paid by you in session, with rebates processed directly for you following payment of the full session fee.
If you intend on obtaining a referral, please visit your doctor prior to booking in your first session.
Please note, I work on the assumption that we will engage in treatment based on your goals and your presentation, where most often more than 10 sessions will be required. As such, I suggest budgeting for therapy based on the full (private) cost of sessions. If this is not feasible for you, please raise this with me in our first session together so that we can align your goals for therapy with realistic treatment outcomes based on your ability to commit to therapy.

If you have private health insurance you may be eligible to claim rebates, depending on your level of cover. You can claim directly with your insurer after your session, following payment of your session.
You are unable to use your private health insurance if you are already accessing Medicare rebates for your session.

At least 48 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, or fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment, the full session fee will be incurred. Rebates cannot be claimed for sessions cancelled.
For your convenience, sessions can be changed to Telehealth up to 10 minutes before the scheduled session time. Additionally, if we can reschedule your appointment to a mutually suitable time within the same calendar week, you will not be charged the cancellation fee.
